DEGHERI ALUMNI CENTER

The ASTRA students meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month in the Degheri Alumni Center at 12:15 P.M.

SERVICE PROJECTS

The ASTRA students participated in "I Love a Clean San Diego" beach clean-up in April and November 2008. This is an ongoing event.

The ASTRA students of USD are participating in "Light One Little Candle" Project at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center. They purchased and delivered 100 children's books. "A Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Service" was awarded to the club.

Nazareth House

The ASTRA students visited the guests at the Care Center at The Nazareth House. They created original, beautiful Christmas cards for the 130 residents and passed out Christmas stockings containing a candy cane.
