Altrusa Literacy Committee gives siblings staying at the Ronald McDonald House a party where they made harvest wreaths, received a bag of toys and a Project Linus blanket.
The Moores UCSD Cancer Center is in partnership with the LIght One ittle Candle Foundation , a non profit oorganiation that encourages parents undergoing cancer treatment to read to their children. The program distributes new children's books to cancer patients through the Cancer Center's Patient and Family Education Center.
ALTRUSA CLUB OF SAN DIEGO,LITERACY COMMITTEE puts on a Dr.Seuss party for the siblings at the Ronald McDonald House. the children make a Seuss craft item, rceive a Dr. Seuss book and are also given a PROJECT LINUS BLANKIE.
